INTRODUCTION

The basis of each customer relationship at Lake County Bank is trust. Our customers have chosen to do business with our bank, and we are obligated to honor that relationship with great care, beginning with the information our customers have chosen to share with us. We believe that our customers privacy should not be compromised, and want to offer our customers, the array of financial products and services that they need to accomplish their financial goals.

RESPECT OF CUSTOMER RIGHT TO PRIVACY

Lake County Bank believes that the confidentiality and protection of customer information is one of our fundamental responsibilities. While information is critical to providing quality service, we recognize that one of our most important assets is our customers trust. Therefore, the safekeeping of customer information is a very high priority at this bank.

COLLECTION, RETENTION AND USE OF CUSTOMER INFORMATION

The collection of personal information is designed to access our customer's personal accounts and to assist the bank in providing our customers with the products and services they want and need. All personal information collected and stored by the bank is used for specific business purposes which include the protection and administration of our customer's personal accounts and transactions, to comply with state and federal banking regulations, and to help the bank better understand our customer's financial needs in order to design and improve our products and services.

MAINTENANCE OF ACCURATE INFORMATION

It is in the best interest of both our customers and the bank to maintain accurate records concerning our customer's personal information. Therefore, Lake County Bank has established procedures to ensure that the information we have on our customers is accurate, current and complete, in keeping with reasonable commercial standards. We also pledge to respond to requests to correct inaccurate information in a timely manner.

LIMITED EMPLOYEE ACCESS TO CUSTOMER INFORMATION

Employee’s access to personally identifiable information is limited to those with a business reason to know such information. Employees are educated on the importance of maintaining the confidentially of customer information in regards to the privacy principals. Due to the importance of these issues, all of our employees are responsible for maintaining the confidentially of customer information. The employees violating these privacy principles will be subject to disciplinary measures.

PROTECTION OF INFORMATION

Lake County Bank is committed to the security of our customer's financial and personal information. All of our customer operational and data processing systems are in a secure environment that protects our customers account information from unauthorized access. We maintain and grant access to customer information only in accordance with our internal security standards.

THIRD-PARTY DISCLOSURE RESTRICTIONS

It is Lake County Bank’s policy not to reveal specific information about customer or former customer accounts or other personally identifiable data to unaffiliated third parties for their independent use, except for the exchange of information with reputable information reporting agencies to maximize the accuracy and security of such information or in the performance of corporate due diligence or business manners, unless (1) the information is provided to help compile a customer initiated transaction; (2) the customer request or authorizes said transition; or (3) the disclosure is required by or allowed by law (i.e. subpoena, investigation fraudulent activity, request by regulator, etc.). Information is not and will not be sold to third parties by this bank.

Lake County Bank recognizes and respects the privacy expectations of our customers and value their relationship.
